These courts will be erected in Delhi at any location, including the district courts and schools. Long-overdue challans will be placed in Lok Adalats that have been set up throughout the state of Delhi. Additionally, residents will be able to request a reduction or remission of challans. The Delhi Traffic Police Department has declared the launch of the Special Lok Adalat Token Registration at https://traffic.delhipolice.gov.in/. You can now get a challan for driving without a license, insurance, permit, or vehicle fitness deposited in less money if you also have one pending.  The Delhi Lok Adalat Token will take place on Sunday, October 8, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

06th May Update:- National Lok Adalat in Delhi on May 11

On May 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., commuters with outstanding traffic tickets or challans can now get them dismissed in all Delhi court complexes during the National Lok Adalat. Traffic offenders were asked by the Delhi Traffic Police (DTP) to take advantage of this chance and pay up any outstanding compoundable traffic citations or notices. Beginning at 10 a.m. on May 7, the link to download and print the traffic challans and notices will be active until the limit is reached. As of now, the website is currently unavailable.

To receive as many challans and notices as possible in the Lok Adalat, only compoundable traffic notices and challenges that are available until January 31 on the Delhi Traffic Police portal will be considered, except non-compoundable, cognizance declined, paid, disposed of, and transferred to regular/evening/digital Courts notices.

Each of the 180 Lok Adalat benches will only accept up to 1000 challenges or notices for resolution. On May 11, the 1,80,000 challans and notices will be disposed of. In this Lok Adalat, there will only be a maximum of seven notices/challans (5 Notices, 2 Challans) per individual car and two notices/challans per commercial vehicle.

Important points to remember:

• Having a printed copy of the notices and challans with you is required.
• The court complexes will not have any printout facilities.
• Defaulters must appear at the designated court number in the Court Complex at the designated time slot on the challan in order to have it dismissed.

• Click on E Token Registration link
• A new page will open with the instructions
• Read the instructions carefully and click on the Delhi Lok Adalat Token registration

• After that, click on the submit button
• Obtain approval now, and then visit the nearby Lok Adalat Department Office.
• Finally, pay the Pending Challan
